Partnership for Successful Living

Development Team Member – NEW!

The Partnership development team needs your help! We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to help plan fundraisers and to update/organize our donor database. You would work with members of our development team in all aspects of the fundraising event. Previous experience is not needed, just a passion to learn and a desire to help. Contact the team today!

Development Team “Lois Lane/Jimmy Olsen” Roving Reporter – NEW!

The Partnership development team is looking for one or two roving reporters to cover happenings among our six agencies!  There is always so much going on, and we want to be able to spread the word!  You would be notified about the event, time and place, etc., and then you go and take a few pictures, jot down a few notes, and report back to the team!  This could range from informal celebratory lunches and successes, program graduations, or perhaps fundraising events.  For the right person(s), this would be a great opportunity.  Contact us today!

Resource Development Committee Members
The Partnership’s RDP  (Resource Development and Planning) committee is in charge of all fundraising run by the Board of Directors. We are currently seeking knowledgable marketers, fundraisers and event planners to bolster the team as it spearheads several fundraising projects.  Even very part-time consultants could be a terrific asset. This is an opportunity to make a truly high-end impact on the Nashua and Manchester communities.

Restaurant Nights – NEW!
Event planning? Getting lots of money? If any of these words catch your eye, you could be what we need. The Partnership is currently launching a new development initiative involving “Restaurant Nights.” The volunteer would spearhead efforts to work with local restaurants planning a special night where a portion of all participating checks go to Harbor Homes. The volunteer would, with the direction of the Development team, work to publicize the event, because driving diners into the restaurant is the way to make the event a great success!  The volunteer would also help to enhance the event by planning raffles, donation boxes, and anything to make the event more exciting. You would work with staff, but also have a great deal of independence to make these events shine how you’d like.

Harbor Homes

IT/Tech Guru Wanted
Harbor Homes is looking for volunteers who are familiar with creating and maintaining SharePoint pages.  This software will assist us in terms of efficiency and effectiveness, since the sharing of information is critical to our operations.  We also need volunteers who would be able to teach our staff to use SharePoint.  We realize that this is a huge undertaking, and your help would be so appreciated!

Administrative Assistant
Several of our housing organizations — including our veterans temporary housing facility and permanent housing offices — are in need of filing, data entry and reception work. As some of our filing can be a bit particular, anyone we take on must be detailed orientated. Full internships are available, but positions can start at just 10 hours a week.

Keystone Hall

Drivers Needed to Transport Men and Women in Recovery to appointments throughout Greater Nashua, NH
Keystone Hall seeks licensed and insured drivers to transport men, women, and children to and from its facility at 615 Amherst Street in Nashua. Candidate must be in recovery for at least one year and be able to pass a NH Criminal Background Check and Driver’s Check. Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance. However, drivers will NOT utilize their own vehicles to transport clients. Most transportation occurs between 8am and 8pm Monday through Friday in and around Nashua, NH. Both men and WOMEN are needed for these positions.

Task Force

Part-time Receptionist/Administrative Assistant
A receptionist is in serious need for the Southern NH HIV/AIDS Task Force, just someone who can answer phones and do some general administrative work. The hours that need to be filled are 2-5 on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and 9am-5pm on Thursday and Friday.   If you can help at any of those times, or just a portion of them, we encourage you to contact us today. Please note that this position requires a person who can respect the privacy of client’s privileged information.

Fundraising and Planning Team
Every September the Southern NH HIV/AIDS Partnership holds the annual Thomas O. Cash HIV/AIDS Walk. As this donation year winds down, it’s time to start it right back up again in October! If you are interested in helping to fund raise and plan for this event next year, please let us know.    No experience with HIV/AIDS is necessary, just an aptitude for fundraising and a willingness to work independently. This planning team will be mostly volunteers who may not have done this specific walk before, just like you! So why not get some real fundraising experience and raise money for a great cause?

Speakers and Teachers WANTED!!!
Welcoming Light is always looking for good speakers to provide training for our clients, staff and/or the community. These classes can range from financial classes for our veterans to Arts and Crafts, educational classes, resume writing, cooking, nutrition, child care, meditation, even Yoga! The possibilities are endless!   If you have a refined skill, quirky or practical, why not share it?
