On Tuesday, November 21, 2017, the nonprofit agency Harbor Homes and affiliated agencies of the Partnership for Successful Living, will host its 17th annual Thanksgiving dinner for the community’s individuals and families including our veterans, in need. This festive celebration will take place at 45 High Street in Nashua, NH from 11:30am-2:00pm and provide a free, traditional Thanksgiving meal complete with all the fixings, along with live music and parting gifts. The annual holiday gathering, made possible by the generous support and heartwarming volunteer effort received by area businesses and the private sector, has greatly increased in attendance over the years in serving more than 350 people and widely anticipated within the Greater Nashua area.
The Partnership for Successful Living greatly appreciates in-kind and monetary donations and is asking for the public’s help. The list of items still needed includes paper plates, plastic forks, knives, and spoons; napkins, juice boxes, apple cider, bottled water, canned corn and green beans; cranberry sauce, and mittens, gloves (children and adults), and winter hats.
The Partnership for Successful Living is a collaboration of six nonprofit organizations which provide access to affordable housing, health care, education, employment, and supportive services to help individuals and families achieve sustainable independence and live fulfilled lives. Partnership agencies include Harbor Homes, Inc., Keystone Hall, Healthy at Home, Milford Regional Counseling Services, Southern NH HIV/AIDS Task Force, and Welcoming Light Inc.
