Harbor Homes Welcomes Clinical Director Jonathan Brown
Experienced leader and public health advocate, Jonathan Brown, has joined the nonprofit agency Harbor Homes as Clinical Director of the Harbor Care Health and Wellness Center in Nashua, one of 12 federally qualified health centers (FQHC) in New Hampshire. Mr. Brown will oversee daily operations and direct strategy, quality compliance, and a team of health care professionals including specialized physicians and licensed clinicians, health educators, pharmacists, and administration.
Mr. Brown joins the organization from Indian Stream Health Center (ISHC), where he has served as CEO for the past three years. Indian Stream Health Center is an FQHC with clinical locations in Colebrook, NH and Canaan, VT serving patients in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and parts of Canada.
“Jon brings a wealth of strategic leadership experience and comprehensive background to his role as Clinical Director and we are thrilled to welcome him aboard,” said Peter Kelleher, CEO of Harbor Homes and the affiliated agencies of the Partnership for Successful Living. “We look forward to working with him as he leads the clinic into an expanding future of promoting exceptional patient care.”
The Harbor Care Health and Wellness Center, a patient centered medical home, offers primary, preventative and behavioral health care, and oral/dental health services to children and adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, uninsured, under-insured, or low income by walk-in or appointment. Medicaid and Medicare along with most insurances are accepted, and a sliding scale fee for self-pay patients is available. No one is turned away because of inability to pay. An on-site pharmacy is accessible during normal business hours as well as the 24/7 Peggy and David Gilmour Medical Respite Center.
Mr. Brown has been an active community volunteer having served on numerous boards and committees including board volunteer for the North Country Chamber of Commerce (including one-year as president), the North Country Health Consortium Board and the North Country Accountable Care Organization Board. He is a graduate of the Bi-State Primary Care Association Leadership Development Program, the George Washington University Geiger Gibson Leadership Development Institute, North Country North of the Notches Leadership Program, Neil and Louise Tillotson Grantee Learning Community, and the Office of Rural Health Policy Rural Voices Leadership Program.

Mr. Brown holds a Masters of Business Administration Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Technology/Business Systems Analysis from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ.
