Nashua, NH The nonprofit agency Harbor Homes, and member of the affiliated organizations that make up the Partnership for Successful Living, was honored to receive a charitable donation of $10,000 from Enterprise Bank of Nashua. Executive Vice President Peter Rayno and SVP/Senior Commercial Lending Officer Lori Piper presented the check to Harbor Homes/Partnership CEO Peter Kelleher for the Peggy and David Gilmour Medical Respite Center located within the Harbor Homes’ federally qualified Harbor Care Health and Wellness Center, 45 High Street in Nashua, NH.
The Gilmour Medical Respite Center is a short term, acute and post-acute medical facility for the community’s most vulnerable individuals who are too sick or frail from surgery, illness, substance misuse or behavioral health crisis, to recover when discharged from the hospital. The only respite center of its kind in the state, the Gilmour Medical Respite Center serves to bridge the gap and allow the patient to recuperate in a protected environment so they can transition safely to self-care. Since the inception of the Nashua Safe Station initiative, the Gilmour Medical Respite Center has become a critical link in the recovery process, as the primary location to which those suffering from addiction are brought when transported from any Nashua fire station.
“Enterprise Bank is pleased to make this contribution in support of the Peggy and David Gilmour Medical Respite Center, and to the good work that The Partnership for Successful Living provides to the Greater Nashua community. While the respite center will be there to support a myriad of medical concerns, we know that it is also at the front line of helping to stem the opioid crisis in New Hampshire, an issue that is of grave concern to this state, region and the nation. We are grateful that there are strong organizations such as the Partnership for Successful Living out there fighting this crisis for all of us on a daily basis.” stated SVP Lori Piper.
Enterprise Bank has 23 full-service branch offices located in the Massachusetts cities and towns of Lowell, Acton, Andover, Billerica, Chelmsford, Dracut, Fitchburg, Lawrence, Leominster, Methuen, Tewksbury, Tyngsboro, and Westford and in Hudson, Nashua, Pelham, Salem and Derry, New Hampshire.
