Continuing to Keep Our Community’s Most Vulnerable Safe

On 03/25/2020

Dear Friends and Supporters:

These are indeed unprecedented times we face, filled with a magnitude of uncertainty. However, what we do know at Harbor Homes and the Partnership for Successful Living, is that our most vulnerable community members will experience the greatest impact over the longest period of time as a result of this pandemic.

Amidst the uncertainty, tumult and fear, it’s human nature to retreat. In fact, that’s what most of us are supposed to be doing right now. Yet, I am blown away by the dedication of our staff – standing on the frontlines of this pandemic – who have charged forward. Their commitment to serving our neighbors in need, making sure basic needs are met, providing critical care to individuals and households in crises, fills me with hope and gratitude.

Our Harbor Care Health & Wellness Clinic team of nurses and doctors are delivering COVID-19 screenings to patients and other critical care. Our mental health clinicians are providing vital supports through remote therapy. Our housing supports and homelessness prevention teams are ensuring Veterans and other community members have safe, secure housing.

Harbor Homes and the Partnership for Successful Living have been at the forefront of many of our most pressing public health challenges over the last three decades, addressing chronic homelessness, HIV/AIDS, mental illness and substance misuse.

We have done this in partnership with our fellow service providers and thanks to our community’s financial support. We will continue this commitment and we will get through this pandemic together.

We can use your help right now. Our Harbor Care clinic needs vital supplies and support to provide critical healthcare to our most vulnerable community members. Please make a gift online to help provide these crucial services

Thank you for your collaboration and support.

With gratitude,

Peter Kelleher

CEO
